A & M Environmental Contracting works daily with the controlling agencies for Site Remediation and Restoration. Each project will require different reviews and reports based on location and site issues.  A & M Environmental Contracting generates a plan which outlines each agency’s requirements and reviews. This project plan maps site issues, reports and agency reviews into a comprehensive work schedule which will lead to a clear and clean declaration.

    The Anaheim Fire Department Hazardous Materials Response Team (Haz Mat) is designed to provide specialized emergency response of both personnel and equipment to protect the public, the environment and property. This would include incidents involving a release, or potential release of hazardous materials that present a physical, biological, radiological or health hazard to the community. The Anaheim Haz Mat Team is one of four Haz Mat Teams in Orange County that provides 24 hours-a-day staffing for emergency responses.  The Anaheim Haz Mat Team has responded to a wide range of emergency situations: tanker rollovers, train derailments, hydrogen cyanide, tetraethyl lead, methyl chloride, pesticide releases, drug labs, and illegal dumping just to name a few. The Anaheim Haz Mat has been protecting and serving the community of Anaheim and Orange County for over 15 years.

Center for Environmental Health CA - The Center for Environmental Health administers programs that protect the public from unsafe drinking water; regulate the generation, handling, and disposal of medical waste; oversees the disposal of low-level radioactive waste; and protects and manages food, drug, medical device, and radiation sources. The Center comprises the Division of Food Drug and Radiation Safety and the Division of Drinking Water and Environmental Management.  California Department of Public Health will provide more focused state leadership in public health and health care financing and create a more effective public health infrastructure in California.  The department will increase accountability and improve the effectiveness of both public health and health care purchasing activities.

Environmental Health: Kern County -
We are committed to improving the quality of life by safeguarding our community through education, cooperation, and fair application of health and safety standards. We take pride in our customer service, integrity, professionalism and ability to understand and meet the needs of our community. Hazardous Materials (CUPA)  The Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) was developed to consolidate the administration of six specific state hazardous materials programs under one agency. The CUPA for the County of Kern is the Environmental Health Services Department. The CUPA for the city of Bakersfield is the Bakersfield Fire Department. Under CUPA, site inspections of these hazardous materials programs (above ground storage tanks, underground storage tanks, hazardous waste treatment, hazardous waste generators, hazardous materials management and response plans, and the Uniform Fire Code) are consolidated and accomplished by a single inspection. These departments also provide emergency response to hazardous materials events, performing health and environmental risk assessment and substance identification.

The Environmental Health Division strives to promote health and quality of life by identifying, preventing, and controlling harmful environmental factors in Los Angeles County. Environmental Health: Long Beach - The Bureau of Environmental Health promotes and safeguards the quality of life in Long Beach by preventing disease and eliminating environmental hazards. Environmental Health: San Bernardino - The Division of Environmental Health Services is dedicated to improving the quality of life, ensuring public health and safety, and preventing environmental hazards for all residents and visitors through innovation, education, surveillance, enforcement, and community service. Water/ Wastewater/ Land Use -- What We Do - Inspect/permit small community and non-community water systems that serve water to the public  - Protect water sources from pollution by permitting and inspecting construction and destruction of wells  - Review/approve sewage disposal reports to protect underground water source -  Inspect/permit liquid waste pumpers (such as septic tank pumpers)  - Evaluate/comment on Environmental Impact Reports -  Ensure environmental health considerations (such as water, waste disposal, noise, vectors and protection of natural resources) are included in development projects - Provide environmental health input to various County committees, including the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors 

Environmental Health: Santa Barbara - The County of Santa Barbara, Environmental Health Services is a dedicated team of professionals who strive to protect the health and safety of the citizens of Santa Barbara County, and to improve and maintain a high quality of life. Registered Environmental Health Specialists (REHS) work in programs dealing with food facilities, detention facilities, water supplies, public swimming pools, solid waste, and individual sewage disposal systems. Administration and Accounting support staff are responsive to the day-to-day challenges and dedicated in accomplishing the goals and objectives.
